Best of the Best 12/6/2010

Our regular vet was not available here in Coolidge on 12/4/2010. Our old and well loved 16 year old girl went downhill in a matter of hours. Her hindquarters went lame and she was a rack of little bones. It was time to make that call. We were upset initially that our regular vet was unavailable, but we called Casa Grande Animal Hospital and they were able to take us and even stayed late to make sure they were sensitive to our situation. Nobody likes to have to say goodbye to their pet, as most times they are family members to us. CGAH treated us with sensitivity and kindness. They made it painless for our friend of 16 years and allowed us time to "get ourselves together" before leaving. The vet was amazing, and the vet tech cried right along with us as we held our girl at the end. I wish I could give them more than a 5 star rating. If the drive was shorter, we'd bring all of our fur babies there. They are also very affordable as well. more

Great Vet 10/13/2009

We love them! We have 3 dogs and 6 cats so we see the vet ALOT! When our 13 year old Chow was diagnosed with cancer earlier in 2009, the staff and vet was so gentle with our dog and us. We lost our beloved Chow on July 1st. This team was caring not only about how we felt but also to make the process easy on our dog. They have saved lives before for this family and we will go no where else ever. more

I did not have a good experience with this clinic. 5/3/2009

They gave steroid shots to one of my cats without explaining or warning me of the consequences. It resulted in my cat getting diabetes. Their treatment advice for this devastating disease was all wrong. I had to do my own research to get my cat better insulin and diet. I also had to learn myself, how to monitor my cat?s blood glucose. It cost me a lot of tears and thousands of dollars to get my cat well again. This was few years ago and I have been trying to avoid this clinic ever since. It is just two miles from my house but I prefer to go to a vet clinic 80 miles away to get better care for my cats. more

Not caring enough for me 2/6/2009

I have been to this clinic after moving from Colorado and have been very disappointed. Every time I go in it seems to me that they are so busy that I feel like an intrusion to them. Very short on conversation and not very friendly. I know that they see a lot of people, but my dogs are my family and feel that their care is important to me. My vets and their staff must be caring and understanding or I will not return. I am going to find another vet because of the way I get talked to, I don't feel they will care for my dogs any better then the way they talk to me. more

Friendly people with up-to-date care 8/21/2008

We had just moved here when one of our cats developed a bladder infection. We were able to have her seen the day that we called. The staff is friendly and helpful. The vet was up to date on medicine available and clearly explained our options. The paperwork you fill out even asks about what level of care you would like for your pet. Although the price was higher than I have been used to paying, it seems in line for the region. The vet also called me back with the lab results and to make sure that the medicine had worked. All in all I am happy with this hospital and would recommend it. more

LOVE THEM!!! 10/10/2007

I moved to Casa Grande 10 years ago and was at a loss as to where to take my dog who was having severe behavioral issues. I was referred to CGAH and they were supremely conscientious regarding the care of my dog. They offered me the best option at the lowest price to help my dog. The staff is wonderful and the vets take into consideration the relationship that people have with their pets, in addition to the fact that most people don't have an indefinite amount of money to spend on their pets. A few years later, we were given an 11 mo. old dog who contracted Parvo. We had moved out of town and I took him to another vet (Audie Wood) who (I found out after) took my very ill dog on an overnight camping trip with her vet assistant/boyfriend in the desert. Luckily I got him back in time to save his life by taking him to CSAH. They diagnosed him within 5 minutes as having Parvo (something "Dr." Wood didn't do on her overnight outing) and offered me several options for his care. Although they more

For the Dogs 9/4/2005

This veterinary clinic is very clean and has convenient hours. We have taken our dog there once. However what turned me off to this place was the fact they went ahead with procedures or medication without contacting me first. When I went to pay for services rendered the cost was shocking. I would have like to at least been notified. Despite that the care for my dog was good. The staff is very friendly. This may have been a one time communication breakdown. Overall I would recommend this clinic. more
